The Pitheath Hackers are a group of computer hackers operating primarily from Pitheath district.

Overview[edit | edit source]

The group is made of at least 5 members, 4 of them living and operating from a their den located next to Pitheath open sewer canal. The remaining person lives and works remotely from a makeshift container shack located in an abandoned yard on the outskirts of Turnip Hill.

The group appears to be strong supporters of Interne.ts political party, as their posters and banners are commonly found in both hideouts. The existence of the group and their activity seem to be known on the internet as denoted by members of the #MushroomMachine chat, who immadiately knew about a launched and successful attack.

History[edit | edit source]

On August 8th, 2016, between 02:00 and 03:00 in the morning, the group launched an attack targeting Alcista Office Complex servers, specifically the data of National Consulting Group company, uncovering large amount of city corruption, including the detailed information of Stolland Nuclear Weapons project.

The scope of the hack made the group's boss extremely paranoid for the remainder of the day, strengthening the security of the Pitheath den, to unrest and confusion of the rest of the group's members.

Later that same day, the group went onto the Jasny Lan Party hosted at Jasny Hall, leaving both hideouts vulnerable and eventually allowing Markku Siltanen to break in.
